Electrofusion
Electrofusion is a heat fusion process in which a fitting contains an integrated heating source and is most often used in situations where the pipe in constrained, as in repairs and tie-ins that take place in a trench. Electrofusion couplings are perfect for use in situations where the two pipes to be joined have different melt flow rates. Electrofusion can be implemented in nearly any application, and fittings are available in both HDPE and MDPE.

These portable units have been designed for small diameter gas, water and industrial applications. They are very intuitive, designed for multiple and speedy installations, and utilize a self-diagnostic error detection system.

Electrofusion Fittings
Electrofusion Fittings are manufactured to include and integral identification resistor that is recognized by the corresponding processors and will automatically set the proper fusion parameters. All electrofusion fittings have an ISO compliant barcode label that enables the simple input of correct fusion heating and cooling times.
